
This is similar to timing files for the numerous chips out there (Cool Runner Ace V3, Matrix, etc.).

Another point is: you can try different methods when flashing RGH3.


I've ordered some proper 1n4148 diodes to remedy this. This last Falcon I modded literally takes about 5 minutes sometimes or doesn't even boot at all. But I left out the diode because I simply didn't care how long boot times took. Now I have used resistors for each because it is HIGHLY recommended to ensure safety of your console (on these occasions, 22k Ohm for each). I've done a few of these myself, two Falcons, a Jasper with RGH3 work great for the most part. I know others have mentioned some things to elaborate on what you were saying here and then some but figure I will throw in my two cents.
